THE WORST KIND OF FEELING ...

Sneaking out for golf ...

Father Norton woke up Sunday morning and realizing it was an exceptionally beautiful and sunny early spring day, decided he had to play golf.   So he told the Associate Pastor that he was feeling sick and persuaded him to say Mass for him that day. As soon as the Associate Pastor left the room, Father Norton headed out of town to a golf course about 40 miles away. This way he knew he wouldn't accidentally meet anyone he knew from his parish. Setting up th first tee, he was alone.

After all, it was Sunday morning  and everyone else was in church !

At about this time in Heaven, Saint Peter leaned over to the Lord while looking down on Father Norton and exclaimed, " You're not letting him get away with this, are you ? "

The Lord sighed and said, " No, I guess not. "

Just then Father Norton hit the ball and it shot straight towards the pin, dropping just short of it, rolled and fell into the hole.

It was a 420-yard hole in one !

Saint Peter was astonished. He looked at the Lord and asked, "Why did you do that ? "

The Lord smiled and replied,  "Whom 's he going to tell ? "

WHY IS THE PUBIC HAIR CURLY ?

If you want to know the anatomical reason why the pubic hair is curly, Dr. Joseph Banks of the American Board of Dermatology has this to say :

"  Pubic hair is curly because it is genetically made in a flat shape rather than the round shape.      Perfectly round hair, such as the hair seen on the scalp of native American Indians is                    straight and has no tendency to curl.  However, the ribbonlike  hair on the scalp of African          Americans is seen to curl because it is oval in construction. The same is true with pubic hair."

Dermatologist Samuel T. Seldom however speculate that pubic hair may be curly because if it grow out straight and stiff, it might rub against adjacent areas and cause discomfort.

An Indian Kamasutra Guru on the otherhand stated that its a nature call because if the pubic hair is straight and stiff, it might poke the eye while performing oral sex.

Dermatologist Jerome Litt, who has been confronted with the question why pubic hair doesn't grow as fast as the scalp hair, facetiously suggests that "not only wouldn't  it look sporty in the shower room, but we'd all be tripping over it.

And one neglected fact is that not all pubic hair is curly. Dr. Seldom points out that early in puberty it is soft and straight.  Another thing, he points out is that it is not imponderable in Japan and China. The pubic hair of Asians tend to be  sparser and much straighter than that of whites and blacks.

I guess this is another proof that everything happens for a reason and creation was not an accident but a grand design.
